Classes

Painted Text / Storybook Art

Painted text is a class where reading and art go hand in hand. As a learning tool, storytelling through art will encourage the children to explore their unique expressiveness as well as heighten their ability to communicate their thoughts and feeling through verbal communication and art. Students will also learn to appreciate art not only created by them but by others as well. 

4 - 7 years: Wednesday and Friday, 4:30 - 5:30pm
2 - 3 years: Tuesday and Thursday, 2 - 3pm

Explorium

At Explorium we encourage children to develop their unique skills and interests. They will be provided opportunities to learn through sensory experiences that aim to enhance their cognitive, motor, language and social skills through group play. The areas we focus on are creative arts, dramatic play, language and sensory exploration. All our activities are designed to introduce young  children cause and effect and self-expression through arrt, music and imaginative play as well as developing important school readiness skills.


1.6 - 2.9 years: Monday / Wednesday / Friday, 10 - 11am
1.6 - 2.9 years: Monday / Wednesday / Friday, 3 - 4pm
2.5 - 4 years: Monday / Wednesday / Friday, 1 - 2pm

Abrakadoodle

This is a playful series of classes designed to support and enrich a child's experience of art. The class comes together to create and explore, through painting, drawing, construction, clay play and more. They will investigate color, shapes and texture while experimenting with a variety of art mediums and styles they develop their own artistic skills in a free and enjoyable way. 

2.5 - 4 years: Monday / Wednesday / Friday, 2 - 3pm

Science Experiments

A young child's natural curiosity and sense of wonder combined with an age appropriate activity makes for an unforgettable learning experience. This class introduces everyday science concepts in a fun and exciting way.

4 - 9 years: Tuesday and Thursday, 4:30 - 5:30pm

Baby Play

This is an interactive and explorative class that caters to the very young. This class provides a variety of sensory experiences that will encourage children to explore the world around them with help of teaching aids such as light, bubbles, bells, cloth, musical fun, singing and much more.


6 - 18 months: Monday and Wednesday, 11 - 12pm

Wiggle Giggle

This class aims to provide a fun and creative approach to music and movement that will benefit a child's developing body. The use of small and large muscle movement exercises will promote flexibility, coordination, strength and self-confidence.

1.5 - 3 years: Tuesday and Thursday, 11 - 12pm

I Eat Art

This is a fun and innovative class that combines art with the simple process of cooking. Children will experiment with many artfully done dishes and simple recipes that they can easily share with the whole family.


3 - 5 years: Tuesday and Thursday, 3:30 - 4:30pm

Kindermusik
Babies - 18 months: Tuesday, 10 - 11am

*All classes are inclusive of free use of play area on dates enrolled. (except Kindermusik)
